GemSafe Appraisal
One of the key underwriting requirements for any jewelry insurance policy is a recent appraisal. Now you can get access to an appraiser online. Complete the form and you will be contacted directly.
What is an appraisal?
An appraisal is an estimate or considered opinion of the nature, quality of value for a particular market on a particular date. It is usually in document format, describing all qualitative and quantitative attributes necessary to arrive at the value conclusion.
How does it work?
Once the appraiser contacts you by phone or email, he/she will be able to create a new appraisal(s) based on your older jewelry appraisal(s). Simply email a picture or electronic copy of your previous appraisal. If you don’t have one, that is ok. You can send a currently dated, detailed picture(s) of your jewelry, placed on a white sheet of paper with the current date handwritten on the paper.
**GemSafe offers this service as a convenience and referral only and it is understood that the validity of any appraisal is the responsibility of the customer and the appraisal provider.
